Amsel's Bicentennial poster.

I finally found a somewhat improved image of Amsel's bicentennial poster, thanks to music producer/songwriting legend (and Amsel friend) Bob Esty. He's held onto this framed print for almost 40 years, so naturally it's a little worn. I tried to clean it up as best I could, without ruining fidelity to the original picture I took..

I love the J.C. Leyendecker influence. I just wonder if this was a commissioned piece, and who it was for.
